Road Trips

These images are from my first big road trip for this project. Summer of 2020, I drove down and spent two days. Met up with a couple other photographers and had the immense honor of traveling with them and learning from their experience. They know who they are, and I forever thank them.

My second big trip, later in summer 2020. Again met up with an incredibly generous photographer friend, who showed me all kinds of amazing finds. We shot from sun up to sundown for five days, and I left with a whole new world of images. Huge high-fives to Todd.

These are from ongoing trips, locations I've found on my own. I have a huge soft spot in my heart for South Dakota. I don't know what it is that ties me to this place, but it calls me. The prairie winds beat these places fiercely, and still they hold on. It's so beautiful.
